DUCANE IGNITOR ELECTRODE ASSEMBLY
Our aftermarket collector box is made to fit many Ducane grills. The collector box includes what is known as a glow wire. This wire glows red and indicates when the burner is on and does not need to be attached to anything else on your grill.

When installing your electrode assembly be sure that you are not blocking the gas flow. To minimize blockage avoid installing the electrode in direct flame if possible. Electrode tip should be positioned as closely as possible to the first gas port on your burner. For natural gas position the electrode slightly above the port because natural gas is lighter than air. For propane, you want to install slightly below the first gas port on your burner because propane is heavier than air.
